Assign privileges to a single user

You can assign a privilege directly to a user.

For example, you have one manager, John who looks after a group of cashiers for the holiday season. All the user identities for the cashiers are in the CashiersHoliday group.

  1. Open the SecureAuth Identity Store in any of the following ways:

    • Get a URL link from your administrator to the Identity Store UI.

    • In the SecureAuth Identity Platform, on the left side of the page, click Identity Store.

  2. In the Identity Store, on the left side of the page, click Identity Stores.

  3. From the list (or cards), click an identity store to edit.

  4. Click the name of the user identity you want to update.

  5. Select the Custom Settings tab.

  6. In the Privileges list, select one or more privileges you want to give the user.

For example, John needs privileges to manage the cashiers in the CashiersHoliday group. Because this is a dynamic privilege, it displays as Groups CashiersHoliday dynamic privilege in the list.
