Arculix Device Trust compatibility

This topic covers what is compatible and supported by Arculix Device Trust in Arculix by SecureAuth.

Supported operating systems

The following tables list the operating systems that are compatible with Arculix Device Trust.

Before you upgrade your operating system, make sure it is supported by Device Trust. Upgrading to an operating system unsupported by Device Trust can result in unpredictable behavior and system lockout.

Supported MFA methods

Arculix Device Trust supports the following methods for multi-factor authentication (MFA):

  • Push

  • Timed based one-time password (TOTP)*

  • Security key PIN and biometric (FIDO2)*

  • RFID

  • Biometric on workstation*

  • Biometric on phone

  • PIN on phone

  • Password (If enterprise desires)

  • QR over BLE

  • SMS (We don’t recommend using this, due to known security issues)

  • Two-way SMS

  • Voice

  • Email (We don’t recommend using this, due to known security issues)

*For offline access, you can use TOTPs, security keys (FIDO2), QR over BLE, password, and biometric

Supported account types

Arculix Device Trust supports the following account types:

  • Local accounts

  • Domain accounts

  • Microsoft accounts
