Confidence analyzers
Confidence analyzers power the Risk Confidence Engine by evaluating key security factors such as user identity, device trust, and environmental risks. These analyzers calculate a Level of Assurance (LOA) score, helping ensure secure and adaptive authentication decisions.
Device confidence
Toggle On/Off to enforce device-specific authentication policies. This setting strengthens security by verifying whether users log in from trusted devices, reducing the risk of unauthorized access.
Device fingerprint – Creates a unique digital fingerprint using hardware, browser, and network attributes. Machine learning identifies patterns to improve accuracy.
Device trust – Evaluates device reputation, configuration, and behavior to determine trustworthiness.
Location and network confidence
Toggle On/Off to enforce region-specific access restrictions. This setting helps prevent unauthorized logins from high-risk locations while ensuring compliance with security policies.
Geo-IP – Uses IP-based geolocation to detect access attempts from unrecognized or high-risk regions.
Trusted IP – Verifies user trust based on IP, login time, and authentication history across applications.
Location – Monitors user location patterns to flag unusual access attempts that may indicate fraud.
Behavioral confidence
Toggle On/Off to dynamically adjust authentication based on user behavior. This setting continuously monitors login patterns and adapts security measures, reducing friction for trusted users while detecting risks.
User-based – Identifies suspicious logins by analyzing historical user behavior.
Group-based – Flags deviations from normal group behavior to detect potential security threats in real time.
