Secure Ramp access for AI agents
Manage corporate cards, transactions, reimbursements, bills, purchase orders, funds, vendors, treasury accounts, and travel bookings, plus run spend analytics, using Ramp's official MCP server.
Through Ramp, agents can work your spend-management platform (corporate cards, transactions, employee reimbursements, bills, invoices, purchase orders, procurement requests, funds, budgets, vendor records, contracts, treasury accounts, travel bookings, and spend analytics) using Ramp's official hosted MCP server. Every call runs through your policies and is logged for audit.

Credential modes
Ramp supports per-org dynamic registration only, so there is no app to create on Ramp's side and no client ID or secret to enter. See Credential modes for how it compares with Use SecureAuth's app and Bring your own app.
Before you begin
- A Ramp account that can reach the spend data your agents need.
- Administrator access to your SecureAuth Agent Authority workspace, to add the resource.
Setup
- In the Agent Authority console, go to Tools & Services and click Add Resource.
- Select Ramp from the catalog.
- On Choose how to install Ramp, click Per-org dynamic registration. Selecting it adds the resource right away with its tools pre-configured.
Dynamic client registration
When you add the resource, the gateway registers its own OAuth client with Ramp, the credential that lets it sign users in. Ramp's own role-based permissions still apply, so an agent can only reach what the person who signed in could already reach.
Verify the connection
The gateway syncs the Ramp tools automatically. To check the connection end to end, ask your agent to run a request:

How users connect
The first time you connect, the gateway sends you to Ramp to sign in, through your SSO if configured, and click Approve. Review the permissions on the next page and authorize. You return to the console with your Ramp account connected.
Access is per user. Each additional user connects their own Ramp account the first time their agent calls a Ramp tool: the gateway returns a sign-in link, the user authorizes once, and the tools work from then on. Go to Connections to manage linked accounts.

Required scopes
Nothing needs configuring on the gateway side. Ramp publishes a granular scope list (cards:read, transactions:write, reimbursements:write, and around forty more), but the connector pre-declares none of them: Ramp resolves the level at authorization time and then enforces the authenticated user's own role-based permissions.
A user who wants to see what their connection actually got can ask their agent to call ramp_token_info, which reports the auth level, the granted scopes, and any tools that are unavailable as a result.
