Connect Claude to Agent Authority

Anthropic's Claude desktop app and web at claude.ai. Once connected, Claude reaches every tool your organization has approved through a single governed endpoint — every call authenticated, policy-checked, and audited.

Setup (organization admins)

Add the gateway once as an organization connector for your whole workspace.

1. Open organization connectors — On claude.ai, go to Settings > Connectors.

2. Add a custom connector — Click Add, hover over Custom, then choose Web.

3. Enter the gateway URL — Paste the URL and click Add:

4. Members can now connect — The connector is available org-wide. Share the user instructions below so members can enable it and sign in.

Setup (users)

Connect to the gateway your admin already added.

1. Open Connectors settings — In Claude Desktop or on claude.ai, go to Settings > Connectors.

2. Find the SecureAuth connector — In the Connectors list, find the SecureAuth connector your organization admin added.

3. Connect — Click Connect to start the connection.

4. Authenticate — A browser window will open for sign-in.

The agent is auto-registered on first connect.

Connecting to just one MCP?To stay under an agent's tool limit, point the URL at a single MCP — /gateway/mcp/{slug} instead of /gateway/mcp. Grab the exact URL from the resource's detail page; see Scope a connection to one MCP.
