Policy Engine

The eGuardian Policy Engine allows you to define an action to be executed when a specific condition is met for the specified event.

As an example you can skip MFA for users who are located in a specific country and belong to a specific Active Directory group. We've provided a user-friendly UI to define these policies.

Each policy consists of 3 main sections:

  • General information such as name, description and event

  • Conditions in which the policy will be triggered

  • Action to be triggered when the conditions are met

Conditions are essentially predicates by which we define a policy. If you think of a policy as a type of food, conditions are the ingredients.

Note

You don't have to start from scratch. We set up a number of pre-defined policies which are commonly used. You can simply enable and update them as needed.

Policy Management Console

To access the policy management console login to the eGuardian Dashboard at https://mfa.acceptto.com and navigate to the policies pages.
