SessionGuardian Desktop upgrade process

Follow these steps to upgrade SessionGuardian Desktop across all end user devices. This process involves IT/Desktop Admins, SessionGuardian admins, and end users.

Select software version

Select the software version to apply during auto-update

Push software update

Deploy the update to all end user devices.

Download and install update

Keep the device powered on and connected to the internet. The SessionGuardian Auto Update Service downloads and installs the update automatically.

Apply update

(Optional) Schedule a reboot to force the update

Reboot or power cycle the device to apply the update.

Verify update completion

Confirm the software version for all user profiles with a Last Online timestamp after the update.

Log in to Windows and verify the update is applied.
