Important install and upgrade information
This topic contains other pertinent information about the SecureAuth® Identity Platform release 24.04.
- Requires upgrade to .NET 8 and .NET Framework 4.8 or later
The install or upgrade to the Identity Platform 24.04 or later requires .NET 8 and .NET Framework 4.8 or later. SecureAuth Support or Professional Services will work with you on the appropriate updates as part of the upgrade process.

- SecureAuth Connector update
If you are upgrading from Identity Platform release 22.12 or earlier to release 24.04, it requires SecureAuth Connector version 2.1.0 or later. We introduced the following features in the previous 23.07 release.

Test Credentials button in data store integration settings for Identity Platform cloud deployments
Support for "Must change password at next login" in Identity Platform cloud deployments for Active Directory (AD) data stores.
If you are on SecureAuth Identity Platform 22.12 or earlier, and upgrading to 24.04, it requires you to reinstall the SecureAuth Connector bundle and making sure your outbound firewall rule allows TCP port 5671.
