Identity Platform virtual appliance specifications

SecureAuth offers virtual appliance models for running the Identity Platform.

Windows Server 2019 or 2016 virtual appliance specifications

Virtual appliances running on Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016 are supported for new installations or upgrades to Identity Platform 19.07 or later.

  • Windows Server 2019 or Windows Server 2016 Standard

  • Hypervisors supported:

    • AWS AMI

    • VMware hardware version vmx-13 on hosts running ESXi 6.5

    • MS Hyper-V

  • 2 CPUs (2.0 Ghz min), 4 CPUs recommended

  • 4 GB pre-configured, 8 GB minimum RAM recommended

  • 70 GB storage capacity (default max size)

  • CD/DVD Drive: (not connected) **

  • SCSI Controller: LSI Logic SAS **

  • 1 Network Adapter (min) - bridged / 2 network adapters may be required for some configurations

  • No Floppy Drive, USB Bus/Controller or Audio **

Windows Server 2012 R2 virtual appliance specifications

Virtual appliances running on Windows Server 2012 R2 are supported only for upgrades from earlier product versions to Identity Platform version 19.07 or later in some cases. Contact SecureAuth Support.

  • Windows Server 2012 R2

  • Hypervisors supported: (VMware 3.5+, MS Hyper-V & Citrix Xen Server 5.6+)

  • 2 CPUs (2.0 Ghz min)

  • 8 GB minimum RAM recommended

  • 70 GB storage capacity (default max size)

  • CD/DVD drive: (not connected)

  • SCSI controller: LSI Logic SAS

  • 1 network adapter (min) - bridged / 2 network adapters may be required for some configurations

  • No floppy drive, USB bus/controller or audio
