Acceptto to Arculix rebranding FAQ

Updated August 31, 2022

How does Acceptto rebranding to Arculix impact existing Acceptto customers?

Arculix by SecureAuth is the Acceptto product that you use today, but with a simple rebranding to the Arculix name and colors. There are currently no functionality changes to the product. To learn more about the new Arculix names, see Rebranded terms from Acceptto to Arculix

What exactly are the changes? For example, what are the impacts of mfa.arculix.com replacing mfa.acceptto.com?

Existing users will keep using mfa.acceptto.com. We will work with each customer to determine an optimal time to switch to Arculix infrastructure and only after this point will new users pair to mfa.arculix.com. As of now, the production app will only work with mfa.acceptto.com.

Will mfa.acceptto.com stop working?

No. mfa.acceptto.com will continue to work until all our Acceptto customers complete their transition to mfa.arculix.com.

When will mfa.arculix.com replace mfa.acceptto.com?

Our team is working hard to have mfa.arculix.com ready as soon as possible. All new enterprise accounts will start pairing to mfa.arculix.com when the app is prepared for the new domain. As of now, the production app, though rebranded as Arculix Mobile, will only work with mfa.acceptto.com.

What do our customers need to do with the rebranded mobile app that is targeted to be released on August 31 or soon after?

As a customer, you do not need to do anything except to edit your enterprise end user communication content to ensure that any screen shots and references to Acceptto It’sMe mobile app, eGuardian dashboards, etc. are replaced with the appropriate Arculix screen shots of the Arculix brand. For example, see the following before and after screenshots:

Our users search for It'sMe or Acceptto to find the mobile app on their phones. Do we need to communicate to the whole team to search for Arculix now instead?

In our initial release of Arculix Mobile, we have kept references to both “Acceptto” and “It'sMe” to make it searchable by those terms. As your team completes the transition to Arculix, we will retire the Acceptto brand.

What happens if a user never upgrades their It’sMe app?

It will continue to work as normal, because the new eGuardian version rebranded as Arculix supports the old version of the mobile app. However, over time, you might be missing out on new feature enhancements that are available in the new Arculix Mobile app. Note that there's also NO plan to force users to update.

Who can we talk to get help with the transition to mfa.arculix.com?

Your account support team and dedicated Customer Success representative will work with you. We'll help coordinate the transition of your web and SaaS applications, mobile app, Device Trust, and so on, to Arculix (i.e. get all relevant links pointing to mfa.arculix.com).

What if we do nothing? Will something eventually break?

Nothing breaks if the user doesn't want to update the mobile app. They simply won't have access to new features coming to the Arculix Mobile app, until they choose to update.

What happens to users who only have Acceptto It’sMe app? Do they need to upgrade? What happens if they upgrade to the new mobile app rebranded as Arculix Mobile?

Since Arculix Mobile and Acceptto It'sMe is the same app, the App Store is automatically updated. It'sMe takes on the name of Arculix Mobile and users will likely not even notice. We will work with our customers to determine a timeline to move the administrative components to Arculix. We have a robust roadmap for Arculix in the upcoming weeks and months, with beneficial enhancements coming your way.

Does Arculix Mobile connect to the existing mfa.acceptto.com?

Yes. That said, we will work with our customers to determine a timeline to fully move to Arculix (mfa.arculix.com).

Do users get forced to upgrade to the rebranded Arculix Mobile app?

No, users will not have to update unless or until they choose to. That said, we will work with our customers to determine a timeline to fully move to Arculix (mfa.arculix.com). We have a robust roadmap for Arculix with beneficial enhancements coming your way.

What happens to sso.acceptto.com/our_enterprisename? Is there a redirection that happens?

There will be no redirection. These sites will continue to work. For any enterprise tenant, we will change the logos and colors to Arculix. When you are ready to use sso.arculix.com/our_enterprisename, we can move all enterprise Web and SaaS applications on an enterprise-approved and coordinated schedule.

What do enterprise clients with a dedicated tenant or on-prem deployment need to do for this Arculix brand change upgrade?

Enterprise clients who have upgraded to Arculix version of eGuardian (targeted to be released on August 31, 2022 or later) will not experience any functional differences. However, note that there will be an update to the Chinese version of the Android app in Q4 2022. Please work with your account representative and Shahrokh Shahidzadeh, our CTO, to coordinate transitioning your on-premise or dedicated tenant deployment to latest and greatest Arculix version. We will work with such customers to determine a timeline to fully move to Arculix (equivalent of mfa.arculix.com). We have a robust roadmap for Arculix with beneficial enhancements coming your way.

Meanwhile, the available Android version (on Baidu or Tencent) will work perfectly.

How does this update impact the Android app in China?

Enterprise clients who have upgraded to Arculix version of the app (target release on August 31, 2022) will not experience any functional differences. There will be an update the Chinese version of the Android app in Q4 2022. Meanwhile, the available Android version (on Baidu or Tencent) will work perfectly.

Is there a rebranded Arculix version of Device Trust for Mac and Windows available? What is the version number, and does it have identical functionality minus the brand change?

Yes, Device Trust version 3.0.1329.1112 and later (available on downloads.acceptto.com) is the rebranded Arculix Device Trust. If there are any questions, please contact your account manager for planned-coordinated release.
