Web Configuration Validation
Introduction
The Web Config Editor is used when editing the code of the entire Admin console.
Prerequisites

1. In the Links section, click the link: Click to edit Web Config file.

2. In the Web Config Editor section, manually enter in, or paste, the XML code in the window
Warning
Click Save once the configurations have been completed and before leaving the Web Config Editor page to avoid losing changes
Troubleshooting

NOTE: If syntax errors exist in the code, the code is not saved and an error message appears. In this scenario, review the code and make necessary corrections
In most cases, common errors include missing tags or missing quotation marks
IMPORTANT: Semantic errors are not detected whenSave is clicked
For example, a membership provider set to a non-existing location is not captured
